Liberty Leavitt is the Graduation Initiative Coordinator for the Clark County School District, the fifth largest school district in the Nation. First an educator, and then an administrator before moving into her current position. Her passion for kids started when she was just one herself and now she has devoted her career to improving the lives of children in our community. It is easy to become jaded when obstacles seem ever present but Liberty sees challenges as opportunities to improve our community. She isn’t afraid to speak her voice but more importantly she’s willing to roll up her sleeves and get the work done. She has a refreshing perspective, ability to get people to work together, and is eternally optimistic. Some people wish for change and others just go get it done. Liberty Leavitt is another example of an amazing person making Las Vegas a wonderful place to call home.
