As I mentioned before we wanted an ugly duckling house.  One we could make our own but we fell in love with a beautiful house instead.
When I first saw the many black french doors contrasted against the white walls and warm wood floors I think I gasped.  They were gorgeous but after living in the space for a while we decided we wanted something softer.
From black to taupe. Clean to soft.

These taupe doors really soften the space along with the now taupe vent hood in the kitchen and the soon to be taupe baseboards throughout.  Don’t be afraid to mix things up.  Make it yours.  Make it home.
